One love, One music

One people, One movement

Immortal Technique is probably one of the most controversial underground hip-hop artists to ever be known. Along with his unwillingness to sign to major record labels including Sony and Def Jam Records(two major companies that offered him contracts), he has spread a socio-political message that has been an inspiration to his loyal fan base. This track is one of my favorites and has intro vocals sampled from a hit Kenny Loggins tune, "Whenever I Call You Friend". I'm not sure if the track was licensed by the "Kenny Loggins copyright owner", but I'm guessing not, which is very standard in hip-hop and emerging electronic underground scenes. Legality aside, the message is there for all those who care to listen.
